subscribe to a list:
Subscribing to one of our mailinglists is easy as sending a mail to someone. If you want to subscribe to one of our lists, you just need to send a mail to the following address: listname+subscribe@lists.sectoor.de
So, if you want to subscribe to the list "test" you have to send a mail to: test+subscribe@lists.sectoor.de
Notice: all lists require a confirm mail. After you sent the subscribe request, you'll get a confirmation mail which you have to answer. This is easy as well as you just have to push the reply button on your mail client.

Special subscribe versions:
Our listserver offer a few special subscribtion versions. You can choose between the following versions: normal, digest, nomail.
The normal version is described above.
If you subscribe to the digest version of one of our lists, you'll get one mail per day including all the posts of the day (except when no posts where made). This is usefull if you don't want to get "pinged" from your mail client every few mins on a high volume mailinglist. As example for our "test" list: test+subscribe-digest@lists.sectoor.de
The nomail subscribtion version is usefull if you have multiple addresses which you use to send mail from, but only want to receive mails from the list to one specific address (like a special mailinglist account). All lists allow posts only from listmembers. So without a subscribtion, you cannot post to a list. To subscribe to the nomail version of our "test" list, send a mail to: test+subscribe-nomail@lists.sectoor.de

unsubscribe from a list:
Like subscribing, unsubscribing from a list is easy. All you have to do, is to write an email to listname+unsubscribe@lists.sectoor.de
As above, if you want to unsubscribe from the list "test" you send a mail to: test+unsubscribe@lists.sectoor.de

get a specific/old mail from a list:
If you're subscribed to the digest version of a mailinglist, you sometimes want to reply to a specific mail from the digest. If you don't want to bug around with your email client, you can request a mail from the listserver. This mail will be sent to you just as you had received it normally. To get a specific mail from a list, you need to send a request to the listserver like the following: listname+get-X@lists.sectoor.de
Of course you need to replace X by the mail number you want to get from the archive. If you get digest mails from a list, you can get the number of an email if you look at the attachment names. So, if you want to retrive mail no. 23 from our list "test", you need to send a mail to the following address: test+get-23@lists.sectoor.de
Notice: this feature may be disabled on a per list basis or limited to subscribed users only!

get help for a list:
All list offer a more or less helpfull information mail you can request. To request help for a list, send a mail to listname+help@lists.sectoor.de. For example to get help for our "test" list: test+help@lists.sectoor.de.
